2 bagger

At this late stage, 2 in a day is much more difficult. But the feat was accomplished today at Broom GPs. I managed to add Rock Pipit and SEO to the SFYL. Both decent patch birds and green too!
No photos I'm afraid and I'm not sure I've got another decent field sketch in me................

Tale of woe

I had a Rock Pipit this morning. Which was nice.

Problem is that having got home and looked at two different maps, it was about 50m into Cambridgeshire and I don't recall it flying into the 'right' county. Even if I look at the maps and squint and make my eyes go funny, it would still have been in Cambridgeshire.

I feel a complete and utter knob-biscuit, as they say in Amsterdam.

Know your county boundaries.

Rocks and mud


As can be clearly seen here, a fine Rock Pipit perching about as far away as possible from me, through the mist.  But that'll be another on the list...
